When you purchase Jon’s CD you help us financially. As the medical bills and other needs arise, this would be a great help.
This project began with my desire to record some of the old hymns that I enjoyed singing as a young boy. The more we worked with it, the more the songs began to gravitate toward my personal style of music. I grew up listening to country and western, bluegrass, and even big bands (thanks to my dad). It appeared to us that no where else had anyone combined the style of western swing and traditional gospel hymns. Rock-a-billy and country ballad styles are mixed in as well. We gave it a shot and this CD is the end result. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did recording it. I pray the songs will be a blessing to your life.

Howdy from Texas to Jon Wells. Listened and enjoyed your CD very much. Those old sacred songs hold a close place in my heart…I hope to see you down the road somewhere!

I have known Jon since 1998. As the worship leader for Dr. Jerry Falwell at Thomas Road Baptist Church I met many talented and gifted individuals. When I first heard Jon sing in 1998 I immediately asked him to sing the next week for church . Everyone was amazed at his talent and heart for God. He has been well received everywhere he performs and I highly recommend him to minister to your congregation. You should know that Jon also possesses the gift of Evangelism and has used his musical ability as a platform to lead many people to Christ. If you can invite unsaved people to hear Jon perform, expect that many will be saved at each performance. In my opinion, he is one of the most gifted speakers for evangelism in our country today.

Several years ago our ministry began inviting Jon to speak for evangelistic outreaches we hold throughout the state. We quickly discovered that Jon has a unique gift both speaking and singing. At each event we would see many people come to Christ and have never failed to see God show up and use this evangelist. We now can’t think of ministry without him and are always thrilled at how God works through him to reach unsaved people each time. We are just thankful that he is available
